We wanted a healthy work culture.
We wanted employee engagement.
We took the Resilience for Life Challenge.
Our employees found that …
They learned how an optimistic outlook can impact mental health.
They improved their capacity to manage uncertainty.
They learned how to fail, bounce back and do better next time.
They donāt blame.
They meet with adversity head on.
They adapt and understand the meaning of response-ability.
They understand the interplay between mind and body and wellbeing.
We encouraged our workforce to become healthier, stronger, happier and more resilient. Using this system we even provided learning opportunities for their children and families.
Give your mental health and wellbeing strategy the ZING! factor it needs to get employee engagement.
The Resilience for Life Challenge
Take up the Resilience for Life Challenge
The Challenge comes in two parts. The first part involves learning about personal resilience and wellbeing via our online courses. The second part involves a live quiz game with teams.
Think University Challenge but with teams from different departments/branches competing to become the Resilience Champions of your organisation.
A fun and worthwhile addition to:
- Team building events
- Training days
- Away days
- Fundraising events
- Wellbeing strategies
The Challenge is fun, informative and inspiring. Participants take online courses and then take part in a University Challenge type quiz. The quiz itself comprises general knowledge/trivia in addition to questions about mental health and resilience (referring to the content in the courses).
This model is great for any organisation from 10 to 10,000 employees.
We Take Care of Everything
Embrace provide the complete package. Everything you need to take the Challenge via our world famous learning platform called the Wellbeing Ecosystem.
We host and manage everything for you. All you do is select the teams that wish to take part. We do the rest. The challenge event can take place on-site or online using MS Teams or Zoom. Either way, itās a great strategy to get your workforce to engage in a fun way to develop personal resilience and promote good mental health at work.

Give your workforce a challenge they’ll thank you for.
āWe wanted to offer something meaningful to motivate and engage our workforce. Something that was fun, involved learning and rewarded engagement. This challenge ticked all the boxesā.
Hereās how it works
The Challenge is a great way to secure commitment to a healthy workplace culture and at the same time gives you really useful data allowing you to effectively ātake the temperatureā of your workforce in terms of self-reported wellbeing.
This is achieved by employees being invited to sign up to the Wellbeing Policy associated with the Challenge and completing a short anonymous questionnaire.
They then complete 4 key courses from our Resilience and Wellbeing Suite:
- Change and Resilience
- Managing Stress and Anxiety
- Mental Health: Body and Mind
- Work Life Balance.
Each course is broken down into bite-sized units and takes between 30 minutes and one hour to complete.
The second part of the Challenge involves an event whereby teams within or between departments, branches or offices compete in a quiz to become Champions of Resilience.
All participants receive a reward pack made up of:
- Framed certificate with your company logo
